## How far do you agree/disagree with the statement?
I am strongly against the idea that people living in cities are more exciting than those living in villages. In fact, I believe that it is a misconception from the past which is due to ignorance. In the past, cities were the hubs of development. Industries, banks, museums, theatres etc. were all located in cities. So, if one desired to be ahead of others one had to make a move to cities. This resulted in the misconception that cities were more exciting places to reside.
However, it is not true any more. In the modern world, all industries have gone to small towns and villages. People are employed much more than they are in cities. The residents of cities are now leading sedentary lives and have turned towards entertainment, which is now available in villages too. So, my view is that in the modern world, there is no excitement disparity between villages and cities.
Therefore, I strongly disagree with the statement that people living in cities are more exciting than those living in villages.
I believe that if one is looking for excitement, one can find that in any part of the world. However, I admit that there is a difference in the levels of excitement in different geographical locations, but not in cities and villages. This is of course very dependent and subjective, one must declare their own preferences and live with them, not falling into the allure that big urban cities always bring more luxurious live.
In conclusion, I am pleased to say that one should base their future decisions upon their knowledge, and not upon such erroneous and baseless assumptions as to what is more exciting.
